Mr. Horton began his employment with Lutheran Homes of South Carolina in 1990 as Controller after eight years in accounting positions at various hospitals. He has a broad background of experience in health care financial matters, information systems and project planning. Mr. Horton is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in accounting and also holds a masters degree in health care administration from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Horton serves as a board member and treasurer of the Lutheran Financial Managers Association and as a finance committee member and treasurer of his church.
