"We don't have residents, we have priorities," explains Frank Shepke, CEO of Lutheran Homes of South Carolina. "Priorities implies a very special relationship. People who come to live with us, to be served by us, are the most important thing we do every day."
With that very idea in mind, we have created a program within our programs and communities to put in that extra effort that will touch the lives of everyone we serve.
Whether it’s ensuring a birthdays never go unnoticed or taking the time to carry in groceries for a resident, when our staff sees someone in need we see an opportunity to make a difference.
Because of this new initiative, our residents are happier, our team more fulfilled and close-knit, and relationships between all within the Lutheran Homes of South Carolina are that much stronger.
