If everyone took five minutes out of their day to help someone in need or to make a difference in the life of someone else, to put a smile on their face or turn their day into a great one, what would our world look like?
With that very idea in mind, we have created a program within our community and that of our sister programs and communities to put in that extra effort that will touch the life of someone we serve. Whether it’s ensuring their birthday doesn’t go unnoticed or taking the time to carry in groceries for a resident, when our staff sees someone in need they see an opportunity to make a difference.
Because of this new initiative, our residents are happier, our team more fulfilled, and relationships between everyone within the Lutheran Homes of South Carolina that much stronger.
